The death toll from the attack on the Crocus City Hall near Moscow concert hall has risen to 140. Russian Health Minister Mikhail Murashko told reporters on Wednesday that one of the victims had died in hospital.

It follows from the minister’s words that 76 people who were injured as a result of the attack remain in hospitals. Four of them are in extremely serious condition. 19, including 3 children, are simply in serious condition. 34 people are in a moderate condition.

On March 26, employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations completed the demolition of the rubble at the site of the burned center. It is reported that the search for new bodies is no longer being conducted. In the published preliminary list of the dead, 120 people, already identified by forensic experts, were listed.

The attack on the concert hall took place in the evening of March 22. More than 6,000 people were in the building. A group of armed men opened fire on visitors with automatic weapons.

The international terrorist organization “Islamic State” claimed its involvement in the attack. It was reported that 12 suspects were detained, four of whom are accused of directly participating in the attack.
