The DPRK sent about 7,000 containers with ammunition to the Russian Federation

Since 2023, North Korea has sent about 7,000 containers with ammunition and other military equipment to Russia. This was reported by the Minister of Defense of South Korea, Shin Won Sik.
According to him, the DPRK originally relied on ships, but now it increasingly uses railways to deliver weapons. Shin Won Sik said that Pyongyang probably received more than 9 thousand aid containers from Russia in exchange for military support.
As noted by the Sky News channel, the Minister of Defense made such a statement just a few hours after the South Korean military announced that North Korea had launched short-range ballistic missiles toward the Sea of Japan.
The USA and South Korea previously accused North Korea of sending missiles and other military aid to Russia during the war in Ukraine. Both Russia and the DPRK denied these accusations.
