The EU provided Ukraine with 1.5 billion euros of macro-financial assistance

On Tuesday, April 25, the European Union provided Ukraine with the third tranche of macro-financial aid in the amount of 1.5 billion euros from a package of 18 billion euros. This was announced by the President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen on Twitter.

“Today we provide Ukraine with another 1.5 billion euros as part of our annual package of macro-financial assistance. We will continue to help Ukraine resist Russian aggression, support the work of its institutions and infrastructure, and also carry out important reforms,” she said.
