In the Saratov region, FSB officers detained a programmer from Mordovia who was trying to leave for Kazakhstan. The special service believes that he was engaged in “propaganda of the activities of one of the Ukrainian terrorist organizations.” This was reported by the publications “View-Info” and “Chetvertaya vlasta”.

The detention took place at the Ozynky border crossing in the Saratov Region. The name of the detainee has not been released. The FSB reports only that he was born in 1986, is a native of Mordovia, and works as a programmer for a foreign company. The investigative department of the department initiated a case under the article on propaganda of terrorism.

According to the special service, the detainee “called for the financing of the activities of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the murder of officials, and the arson of military facilities on the territory of Russia” in various chat rooms. He allegedly also “created a positive image” of members of a Ukrainian military unit banned in Russia. It is not known how the FSB officers gained access to the detainee’s correspondence.
