The representative of the Kremlin, Dmitry Peskov, did not comment on reports of a long queue during the farewell ceremony for Alexei Navalny.
“We have not talked much about this topic and we think that there is nothing more to say,” said Peskov.
Alexei Navalny was buried on March 1. According to the “White Account” project, at least 16,500 people attended the farewell ceremony for the politician.
On March 2 and 3, people continued to bring flowers to the cemetery. Eyewitnesses reported that the mountain of flowers had already gone beyond the grave, and by the evening of March 3, the cross was no longer visible because of the flowers.
