the Lithuanian company Yukon still supplies optics to the Russian Federation

The Lithuanian optical equipment manufacturer Yukon Advanced Optics Worldwide has still not left Russia and supplies this country with goods that can be used in the war against Ukraine. This is stated in the investigation of the “Scanner” project and the Lithuanian television and radio company LRT.

The Yukon Advanced Optics Worldwide group of companies was created by citizens of Belarus and has been working in Lithuania for almost 20 years. After Russia’s large-scale invasion of Ukraine, it condemned Russia’s aggression and announced that it would withdraw from the Russian market. According to the investigation, this did not happen.

In particular, it is claimed that last year the Maison-A company, a member of the Yukon group, received at least 2.3 million euros from Russian clients for the goods sold. Among the main customers of “Mezon-A” is the “CEK” company, which is engaged in the sale of optical devices and the fulfillment of the state defense order of Russia.

At the beginning of February of this year, Pulsar night sights of the Yukon Advanced Optics Worldwide brand were handed over to the Russian forces fighting in Ukraine, the investigation says. LRT and “Skaner” claim that they have discovered dozens of other cases of sending Pulsar devices to the front. About this wrotein particular, the Russian pro-war blogger Fighterbomber, who writes about the military aviation of Russia and its participation in the war in Ukraine.

The model handed over to the Russians in February was manufactured at the Beltex Optics plant in Belarus. This plant belongs to the Yukon Group. Allegedly, since the beginning of the war, Mezon-A has paid Beltex Optik about a million euros for equipment and work.

Representatives of the Vilnius company claim that devices sold earlier, and not last year, could appear at the front. In addition, it is claimed that these are goods that are not intended for military use, but, for example, for hunting.

At the same time, the company also supplies its products to Ukraine.
