The Moscow-based company Konstruktorskoe Bureau Maschinostroeniya, which produces the Kinzhal and Iskander missiles, continues to receive components from Europe and other countries through intermediaries against the background of Russia’s war against Ukraine. This is stated in an investigation by The Insider.

The Russian army uses “Dagger” and “Iskander” for attacks on Ukraine.

Investigators have established that one of the Rostec companies receives chips for US-made missiles through China. According to The Insider, the bureau buys heat and cold cameras in Poland, and cables, lathes and drills in Germany.

In addition, intermediaries purchase products for “Engineering Design Bureau” in Belgium, Great Britain, Latvia and Lithuania.

The bureau is headed by 64-year-old Sergey Pitykov. He has been working in the company since Soviet times. Pytykov’s daughter lives in Sweden with her family. In a conversation with The Insider, she condemned Russia’s war against Ukraine, called it criminal and bloody, and refused to talk about her father.
