Next year, the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine plans to fully restore medium-term budget planning. First Deputy Minister of Finance of Ukraine Denys Ulyutyn said about it.

Ulyutyn noted that the full restoration of medium-term budget planning will take place next year with the preparation of the Budget Declaration for 2025-2027, which will begin in February.
In 2023, the Ministry of Finance plans, together with the draft state budget for 2024, to also present a forecast of the main macroeconomic and budgetary indicators for 2025-2026, including total revenues, expenses and deficit.

For the first time, a three-year budget declaration was approved in Ukraine in 2021. The introduced model of medium-term budget planning is based on the positive experience of European countries, Minister of Finance Sergey Marchenko noted during the presentation of the Budget Declaration for 2022-2024 in the Verkhovna Rada.
