The military court in Novocherkassk sentenced the mobilized Vladyslav Sunagatullin, who attacked the deputy commander of the unit with a knife, to a year of probation. The defendant claimed that the officer attacked him, accused him of being drunk. Kavkaz.Realii editorial office writes about this.

The incident, as follows from the verdict on the court’s website, occurred at the beginning of February in the part of the Luhansk region of Ukraine annexed by Russia. Sunagatullin got drunk and dropped his dinner in the common tent. The deputy commander made a remark to him. After 20 minutes, the mobilized attacked him with a knife and hit the officer in the left side, shoulder and left hip.

The commander was able to take the knife from the attacker, knock him to the ground and call for help. He was hospitalized. The name and title of the victim is not revealed in the material.

During the investigation, the accused told a different version of events. According to him, the officer beat him and his colleague when they got drunk in the war zone. Because of both, the mobilized decided to attack the officer, he did not plan to inflict serious injuries on him, he claimed.
