The National Bank of Ukraine fined LLC “Fynod” for UAH 2 million for violating the procedure for trading foreign currency in cash. This was reported by the press service of the regulator.

Details
In addition to the fine, the company received two written reservations for violating the terms and conditions of foreign currency trading.
In particular, the company did not specify in its internal documents the procedure for setting the exchange rates of foreign currencies, and also did not provide the exchange office with a technological video control system.
According to the NBU website, the company “Fynod” owns one of the largest networks of currency exchangers in Ukraine, which has almost 400 branches.

Other offenders
In addition, the National Bank applied a measure of influence to FC Centrofinance LLC (which has almost 140 exchangers) in the form of a written reservation for violating the established requirements for providing information to clients and equipping the premises with a technological video control system.
The regulator also issued a written stipulation due to the violation of the order of foreign currency trading in cash form to LLC “Profinef”, which controls 15 exchangers.
