The owner of the Mutabor club in Moscow presented the relics of Nicholas the Wonderworker to the Russian Orthodox Church

Moscow businessman Mikhail Danilov – the owner of the club “Mutabor”, where the notorious “naked party” with the participation of pop stars took place – handed over a part of the relics of Nicholas the Wonderworker to the Russian Orthodox Church. He declared that he supports the Church.

In a comment on the Mash Telegram channel, Danilov said that he bought a piece of relics in the Vatican back in the fall to give it to the temple where his confessor serves. This is the temple of the Sign of the Icon of the Mother of God in Sheremetyevo Dvor. On the video, where Danilov hands over the relic to the priest, a certificate of its authenticity is shown.

“We have several clubs, including Mutabor, which is so famous for recent events. But we say that we are against obscurantism, devilry, we support the Church in every way,” Danilov said.

A private party in the club, dedicated to the opening of the Playboy magazine photo exhibition, was held on December 20. A dress code with a minimum of clothing was recommended for the guests, among whom were famous artists and media personalities, such as Philip Kirkorov, Lolita Milyavskaya, Ksenia Sobchak and others. Many came in semi-transparent outfits or semi-nude. Videos from the party got on the Internet and caused a scandal in the Russian blogosphere, and then an official condemnation. “Patriots” accused the stars of debauchery, especially inappropriate, in their opinion, during a “special military operation” (that’s how the war in Ukraine is officially called in Russia).

A tax investigation was launched against the organizer of the party, the former editor-in-chief of Playboy Russia Anastasia Ivleeva. In addition, the court filed a collective action against her from a group of unnamed persons demanding one billion rubles in moral damages. Bank “Tinkoff” stopped advertising cooperation with her, and MTS company removed her from the list of ambassadors. Ivleeva left Russia.

Both Ivleeva and many guests of the event, including Kirkorova, Milyavskaya, Sobchak and Dyma Bylan, published a video apologizing for their behavior. Performances with the participation of some of the artists present at the party were cut from a number of New Year’s TV programs. Another guest of the event, rapper Vacio (Nikolay Vasiliev) received 15 days of administrative arrest on charges of petty hooliganism. Immediately after his release, he was detained again and sentenced to another 10 days of arrest under the same article.
