Russian Telegram channels report the sounds of explosions in the sky over Krasnodar. Eyewitnesses publish videos and photos of supposedly inverted traces of rockets in the sky.

In the video, loud sounds are heard and glowing moving objects in the sky are visible. The Telegram channel “Typichny Krasnodar” quotes a message from the Unified Dispatch Service of Krasnodar, according to which “there were no reports of explosions and destruction in the territory of the regional center.”

On the evening of December 2, the Ministry of Defense of Russia announced that at about 6 p.m. Moscow time, the Ukrainian military fired two modified S-200 missiles over the territory of Russia, which were allegedly shot down by air defense equipment over the Sea of Azov. There is no independent confirmation of this information. Krasnodar is located approximately 80 kilometers from the Sea of Azov.

The Ukrainian military did not comment on the report about the alleged missile attack.

Since the beginning of the war, the Krasnodar region has been repeatedly attacked, usually by unmanned aerial vehicles, but the Ukrainian side has not commented on them. At the end of May, a drone crashed into a building in Krasnodar itself, causing an explosion. There were no victims.
