In the Leningrad region, the Gatchina City Court arrested a married couple, artist Anastasia Dyudyaeva and jeweler Alexander Dotsenko, on charges of inciting terrorism until February 29.

According to the human rights project “OVD-Info”, the spouses were detained on January 24, after conducting a search of their apartment, after which they were taken to the FSB office in Gatchina for questioning.

According to the special service, Dyudyaeva made leaflets in Ukrainian, on which, among other things, there was the inscription “Putin to the gallows”, and then she spread them in the “Lenta” store. The role of her husband is not reported.

  • In November last year, a court in St. Petersburg sentenced the artist Sasha Skochylenko to seven years in prison for placing stickers with information about war crimes on the territory of Ukraine instead of price tags in a grocery store. Skochylenko was found guilty of spreading fakes about the Russian army. The artist acknowledged the fact of distributing the stickers, but stated that the information on them is not false, and therefore she does not consider herself guilty.
