The United States imposed blocking sanctions against two companies from Turkey and the UAE, whose ships were transporting Russian oil sold above the price ceiling. Its average price in September, according to the Russian government, was more than 83 dollars per barrel. At the end of September, the head of the US Treasury, Janet Yellen, reported that the G7 countries are ready to tighten the rules to combat sanctions evasion.
