The ban on the use of Kaspersky Lab products by American government agencies was introduced in 2017 on the basis of suspicions of the Russian company’s cooperation with the FSB. The decision to ban Kaspersky Lab’s popular anti-virus programs in the US will be an unprecedented step on the part of the American government.
