The State Bureau of Investigation has completed a special pre-trial investigation into two ex-employees of the Tax Office who collect “taxes” for the occupiers in the Kherson region.

It is noted that the indictment has been sent to the court.
According to the investigation, both suspects worked in the Kherson tax region in various positions, and after the capture of the regional center, they began to help the occupiers. After the liberation of the city, they fled to the still captured left bank to Skadovsk, where they continue to help the aggressor.
In particular, the inspector openly supported the occupiers and helped the occupation authorities create the so-called “tax service”. She personally dealt with the distribution of payment in rubles among other collaborators, assigned them bonuses and allowances, and managed financial affairs.
Another person involved in the case helps the invaders take money from the population and entrepreneurs in the occupied territories of Ukraine under the guise of “taxes”, and takes part of the money for herself.
Both suspects are charged with treason under martial law (Part 2 of Article 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). The sanction of the article provides for punishment in the form of life imprisonment with confiscation of property.
Procedural management is carried out by the Kherson Regional Prosecutor’s Office.
