Over the past year, more than 1,300 trading sessions were held on the Ukrainian Energy Exchange in BETS and auctions for the purchase and sale of electric energy in BETS in the “Electric Power” version, as well as 4 trading sessions each day were held by the exchange on the short-term natural gas market.
According to their results, 59.2 million MWh of electricity, 1.3 million tons of oil and gas condensate, 187.6 thousand tons of liquefied gas and petroleum products, 167.5 million cubic meters. m of natural gas, 710 thousand tons of coal.
About 2,000 auctions were held in the “Unprocessed wood and lumber” category. The total sales volume was 2.98 million cubic meters. m.
In total, about 8,000 stock exchange certificates were concluded during the past year for trading in energy resources and electricity. On the short-term natural gas market, 815 deals were concluded (and executed). In addition, more than 15,700 contracts for the purchase and sale of wood were concluded.
In the Prozorro.Sale system, more than 15% of the auctions are covered by UEB participants in terms of revenue in the organizers’ budgets, which amounts to about UAH 1.6 billion. Thanks to the qualified support of the participants in preparation for the auction, the UEB platform has become the undisputed leader among other marketplaces. In total, at the end of 2022, the organizers announced 330 auctions through the UEB platform, which, according to the results of the auctions, brought in more than UAH 2 billion. Also, 218 winning proposals of participants were submitted through the UEB platform.

Now we continue to trade in electricity, natural gas, petroleum products, liquefied gas, oil, etc., and maintain leadership among the official Prozorro.Sale platforms. In 2022, over-the-counter operations (OTC market) will be launched on UEB. We are developing the wood market — its participants are increasingly interested in transparent, competitive auctions,” UEB General Director Oleksandr Kovalenko commented on the final results.
