“Transparencies International – Russia” will resume work outside of Russia. In March, the Prosecutor General’s Office recognized the international movement Transparency International (TI) with its headquarters in Berlin as an “undesirable organization”.

The organization’s new website says that the decision of the Prosecutor General’s Office made the work of the Russian organization unsafe. Therefore, it was decided to liquidate the legal entity ANO “Transparency International-R Center for Anti-Corruption Studies and Initiatives”, founded in 1999.

“Experience and knowledge in the field of anti-corruption, accumulated by us for almost a quarter of a century, cannot simply disappear, so we decided to resume work outside of Russia in a new format,” the message says.
