On October 2, the Serhiy Prytula Charitable Fund together with Ukrainian retailers launched a joint collection for armored vehicles for the Defense Forces. Clients of partner companies will be able to contribute to the purchase of 6 tracked armored personnel carriers and 16 armored SUVs.
The EVA store line, along with other well-known retailers, joined the “Bonus Armor” initiative. Until October 31 inclusive, participants of the loyalty program “EVA MOSAIKA” will be able to direct their bonuses to the purchase of 6 tracked armored personnel carriers of the FV-432 type and 16 Snatch Land Rover armored SUVs, which will be transferred to units of the Defense Forces as medical evacuation vehicles.
EVA customers will be able to transfer bonuses to the benefit of the initiative at the cash desk of any chain store, informing the cashier of their intention, or in the mobile application. With the funds collected as part of the “Bonus Armor” project, the Serhiy Prytula Foundation will purchase and organize transport logistics, carry out technical training and assembly.
“Nearly 300 of our colleagues, EVA employees, protect the country in the ranks of the Armed Forces. Unfortunately, there are also those with whom we will no longer be able to celebrate the Victory. It’s sad to admit, heroes still die.
However, many even seriously injured defenders have a chance of life in case of timely evacuation, first aid and stabilization. The transport we are collecting will provide such an opportunity.
So, I hope, with joint efforts, we will save many lives of our defenders.” – commented the executive director of the EVA store line Olga Shevchenko.
Why are armored medevacs needed:
- Evacuation of the wounded. Rapid evacuation of the wounded from the front line to stabilization points/medical facilities is critical for saving lives.
- Ambulance. This transport is equipped with medical equipment to provide assistance during tactical evacuation.
- Protection of medical personnel and the wounded. The armored structure provides protection against bullets and projectiles that threaten the lives of the wounded and medics.
- Mobility in providing assistance. The protection of armored vehicles allows you to provide assistance to the wounded directly while driving.
“Unlike the enemy, we care about preserving the lives of our people. And where we can protect them, we do it.
It is very easy to donate to help the army. You fill up the car, buy groceries, hygiene products, equipment, medicine, clothes, or a toy for a child – and at the same time you buy armor for the Defense Forces. Send your bonus to save ours!” – urges the founder of the fund, volunteer Serhii Prytula.
