Ukraine’s energy system has a sufficient capacity reserve, and since Monday, Ukraine has also started exporting electricity to Slovakia.
She reported about it press service Ukrenergo.
The export of electricity to Slovakia (200 MW every hour) started on Monday, and exports to Poland (75 MW every hour) and Moldova (99-134 MW at different hours) continue. Small imports from Slovakia continue (2-4 MW at different times).
Water harvesting is currently underway, the water level is much higher than in previous years. “Ukrhydroenergo” hydropower plants work around the clock and to minimize the consequences of flooding, they carry out controlled discharges of water, which allows to reduce the level of the Kyiv and Kaniv reservoirs.
As before, the difficult situation with energy supply remains along the front line. Yesterday, as a result of damage to networks by Russian shelling, Kherson and part of the region were temporarily cut off, but power was restored.
The restoration of the power system after massive attacks by the Russians is ongoing. The priority is to restore power supply reliability.
