Ukraine exported more than 100 million tons of goods through the “ways of solidarity”, the majority of which are agricultural products.

This was stated by the President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, at the conclusion of a joint meeting with President Volodymyr Zelensky.

“Paths of solidarity” enabled Ukraine to export more than 100 million tons of goods. Most of them are agricultural products. So Ukraine is feeding the world in these times of shortage,” the head of the European Commission said.

Von der Leyen also added that the “paths of solidarity” brought Ukraine 42 billion euros in 16 months.

According to her, “ways of solidarity” are important, because 65% of Ukrainian agricultural products are exported through them. That is why the EU continues to invest in railway, road, border crossings with Ukraine to expand the “roads of solidarity”.

We will remind:

Within the framework of the “Paths of Solidarity” initiative announced by the European Union in May 2022 for the export of Ukrainian grain, there will be involved one billion dollars from EU states and international partners.
