Due to the cooling and the end of the heating season in some regions, consumption is currently higher than on Monday last week.
Ukrenergo urges to consume electricity wisely: do not turn on many powerful devices at the same time, if possible, distribute their use throughout the day. Such measures will reduce the load on the power system.
Electricity production is sufficient to cover consumption, the power system maintains a sufficient capacity reserve. Ukrenergo reports that there is no electricity import – until now, for several weeks, it has lasted in small amounts.
There are no restrictions in “Ukrenergo” networks. As before, the situation with electricity supply is difficult in the frontline regions, where settlements suffer from shelling by the Russians and the electricity supply network is damaged.
In particular, the Russians shelled the energy infrastructure in Donetsk region. As a result, there were local power outages. The restoration of power is complicated by the security situation in these regions.
Due to damage to key high-voltage substations, which were inflicted by the aggressor during the last six months, the reliability of power supply for consumers in most regions of Ukraine is significantly reduced. Therefore, the operator continues repair work to increase the reliability of power supply to consumers.
