A grant from the USA in the amount of 1.25 billion dollars has been sent to the state budget of Ukraine.

The funds were provided through the World Bank’s Trust Fund as part of the fourth additional financing for the project “Supporting public expenditures to ensure sustainable public administration in Ukraine”.
The grant will be aimed at ensuring partial reimbursement of budget expenses, in particular for pensions, social assistance (aid for internally displaced persons), ensuring the payment of wages for employees of state bodies, employees of the State Emergency Service and employees of higher education institutions.
Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation, Ukraine has already received 15.5 billion dollars from the United States in the form of grants.
The project is being implemented jointly with the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (IBRD) and the International Development Association (IDA) for a total of $14.9 billion. and 1.4 billion euros. The sources are IBRD loans, IDA loans, grants from the Trust Fund of many donors.
