Registrations of new passenger cars in Ukraine in November of the current year decreased by 6% compared to October of the current year – to 5,385 thousand units.

About this reported association “Ukravtoprom”.

“Obviously, the blocking of the border by Polish carriers had an effect, due to which the terms of delivery of cars to Ukraine increased, as well as the expectations of car consumers,” – said a message on the association’s website on Friday.

At the same time, compared to November last year, the market grew by 74%, and Toyota remained the leader with the registration of 854 cars – 8% less than in October 2023, but 22% more than in November 2022.

Skoda took second place from third place in October – 517 units. (+8% by October; +90% by November 2022), the third result at Volkswagen – 476 units. (-17%; +266%).

According to Ukravtoprom, the TOP 10 brands on the market of new passenger cars in November also included: Renault – 383 units; Nissan – 309 units; BMW – 253 units; Mercedes-Benz – 222 units; Mazda – 189 units; Suzuki – 180 units; Citroen – 178 units.

The title of the bestseller of the month, as before, belongs to the compact crossover Renault Duster with the initial registration of 355 cars.

“In total, in 11 months of 2023, Ukrainians purchased 55,000 new passenger cars, which is 61% more than in the same period of 2022,” the report states.

According to Ukravtoprom, Ukrainians registered 37,900 new cars in 2022 – 63% less than a year earlier, and according to AUTO-Consulting, sales decreased by 61,5% – to 40,080 units.
