PJSC “Ukrnafta” remained the manager of the seized assets of Glusco, which was associated with Viktor Medvedchuk, and the assets of Russian “Tatneft”, having paid UAH 21 million as guaranteed payments.

About this informs the press service of the company.

It is noted that “Ukrnafta” transferred UAH 21 million to the state budget as guaranteed payments for the management of the Glusco gas station network.

At ARMA as well confirmed storage and “Ukrnafta” control over the Glusco gas station network.

“Both sides reached a compromise, and this benefited the state treasury and, accordingly, the state and people of Ukraine. ARMA and Ukrnafta jointly unblocked the way for effective management of the property of collaborator Viktor Medvedchuk, whose assets will henceforth strengthen Ukrainian statehood, not destroy it.” – said the head of ARMA Olena Duma.

Accordingly, ARMA withdrew its initiative before the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine to terminate the contract for the management of the Glusco gas station network with Ukrnafta.

In addition, “Ukrnafta” together with ARMA signed a joint application for concentration to the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine. After the agreement with AMCU, Ukrnafta will be able to start the actual management of the Glusco gas station network.

We will remind:

In early January, the Agency for Search and Asset Management (ARMA) initiated before the Cabinet of Ministers on the cancellation of orders and termination of contracts with “Ukrnafta”, which manages the seized assets of Glusco, which was linked to Viktor Medvedchuk, and the assets of Russian “Tatnefta”.

In May 2022, the Cabinet of Ministers agreed to ARMA’s proposal to hand over the seized assets of the Glusco company (until 2018 – the Rosneft network), which were linked to Viktor Medvedchuk, to the management of Naftogaz of Ukraine.

At the beginning of August this year, ARMA announced the termination of contracts with “Naftogaz Oil Trading” for the management of the assets of the Glusco gas station network.

In September, the Cabinet of Ministers determined “Ukrnafta” as the asset manager of the Glusco company.

ARMA proved in court the legality of terminating the contract for the management of Glusco gas stations with the ex-manager – the Naftogaz Oil Trading company, which is part of the Naftogaz Group.
