Voenny received almost three years in prison for refusing to fight with Ukraine

The Yuzhno-Sakhalin Garrison Military Court sentenced serviceman Alexander Ivanitsky to two years and nine months in prison on the charge of failure to comply with the commander’s orders during the mobilization period. Earlier, Ivanytskyi refused to go to war against Ukraine.
According to the investigation, on August 4 in the headquarters of the military unit, Ivanytsky, “wanting to avoid participating in a special military operation”, refused to comply with the commander’s order to send him to participate in combat operations.
The court indicated as an aggravating circumstance the refusal to carry out the order during the period of validity of the presidential decree on mobilization. The judge also took into account that Ivanytsky’s actions allegedly called into question the principle of unity of leadership
