Buffett was skeptical about AI’s ability to replace humans. However, he recognized the wide possibilities of the technology, despite some limitations.

“He can do anything. And when something can do anything, I’m a little worried,” Buffett said.

The billionaire compared the creation of AI to a nuclear weapon and paraphrased Albert Einstein’s quote about splitting the atom. Einstein pointed out that the bomb “changed everything except our way of thinking.”

“AI can change everything in the world except how people think and behave, and this is a big step forward,” said Buffett.

Buffett has long been an ardent opponent of nuclear weapons. Over the course of ten years, he repeatedly spoke about his danger and declared that he would give all his money to reduce the probability of attacks if he knew how to do it.

In an April interview with CNBC, Buffett said that the prospect of a new pandemic or nuclear war keeps him awake at night.
