“We take care of our own”: a business support project with a total fund of 1 million hryvnias was launched

The Ministry of Finance financial site, together with UKRSIBBANK BNP Paribas Group and Mastercard, is launching a business support project in Ukraine “We take care of our own” with a total fund of 1,000,000 hryvnias, thanks to which entrepreneurs can receive financial support for the development of their own business, relocation or other purposes related to direct business activities.
The main goal of the project
The purpose of the project is to support those entrepreneurs who work for the victory of Ukraine in the war and hold the economic front: they create new jobs, pay taxes, help overcome the consequences of the war and offer socially important goods or services.

All new UKRSIBBANK customers – legal entities of medium and small businesses that will participate in the “Take care of our own” project and from September 14 to October 31, 2023, will open one of the “Economy” or “Unlimited” accounts in the bank for conducting their own business, will receive free maintenance of the corresponding account for a period of up to one year.
At the same time, if such a participant of the promotion also opens a package service for his own needs – All Inclusive De Luxe will also be able to use the benefits of Premium service at an international bank for free – this opportunity is available only to one representative of the company participating in the project.
Applications for participation in the project are accepted until October 25.
Conditions for participation in the project
1. Citizens of Ukraine who are founders (participants) of legal entities registered and operating on the territory of Ukraine take part in the project. To apply for participation in the project, participants fill out a questionnaire and provide the necessary information about the company’s activities.
Persons who carry out their business activities as sole proprietorships do not participate in the project.
2. The participant and the legal entity do not cooperate in any way with Russia and the Republic of Belarus from February 24, 2022.
3. The legal entity for which the application is submitted has been officially registered in Ukraine for more than a year at the time of submitting the application.
4. A legal entity belongs to one of the options:
- microenterprise (annual income does not exceed UAH 10 million);
- small enterprise (annual income of UAH 10-100 million);
- medium-sized enterprise (annual income of UAH 100-400 million).
5. The legal entity has active operational activity during the last calendar year.
6. The legal entity does not have open court cases on bankruptcy, debts to the budget, debts on loans in banking institutions of Ukraine for more than 90 days.
Categories to participate in projects
Real economic rear. This category includes legal entities that create goods or services that, in wartime, help the Armed Forces, veterans, and/or people affected by military operations.
Veteran power. This category includes legal entities founded by veterans or where veterans of the Russian-Ukrainian war, ATO, SSO officially work (minimum 1 employed for a micro/small enterprise, from 3 – for a medium-sized enterprise).
Support for development. This category includes companies that have relocated to Ukraine or need support for business relocation/scaling in order to continue working in Ukraine.
According to the terms of the project, for these categories, entrepreneurs themselves send applications to receive financial support within the terms of the project. The jury will choose 1 winner in 3 categories from among the applicants.
Bonus category. For this category, the jury will select 37 companies from among the received questionnaires according to one or more criteria:
- The participant creates goods / services that are important for certain groups of people (children, people with disabilities, internally displaced persons, entrepreneurs, etc.);
- The participant has a proactive position and/or helps victims of war on a volunteer basis;
- The participant argues the need for financial support for a specific purpose, which in turn will contribute to the improvement of production or the establishment of new business processes.
The winner of the Bonus category will be determined during the award ceremony by random selection among the finalists chosen by the jury.
