The leak of the source code of “Yandex” services was recognized on January 28, 2023. An unknown user uploaded archives, the volume of which in compressed form was 44.7 gigabytes. He claimed that he had access to the data in July 2022. “Meduza”, having analyzed these leaks, came to the conclusion that “Yandex” is censoring search results for pictures and videos. For example, the search is configured so that the image of the President of Russia Vladimir Putin cannot be found for the phrases “bald”, “bunker grandfather” and “when he dies”.
