“yeOselya”: since the beginning of the year, Ukrainians have taken out mortgage loans for almost 4 billion


Since the beginning of 2024, Ukrainians have taken out loans for the purchase of almost 2,300 apartments and 50 private houses for a total amount of almost UAH 4 billion under the YeOsel program.

This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Economy.

It is noted that the total amount of issued mortgage loans for 2024 is almost UAH 4 billion. In addition, 25% of loans were issued for the purchase of housing for the first sale.

According to Deputy Minister of Economy Nadia Bigun, 2,300 Ukrainian families will buy apartments, 50 families – private houses. A third of them took loans under the terms of a mass mortgage – at 7%, which is available to all Ukrainians who do not have their own home or need to improve housing conditions.

In particular, last week, Ukrainians received 234 loans worth UAH 388 million under the YeOsel program, including:

  • 110 military and law enforcement officers, 16 teachers, 23 doctors and 10 scientists received loans at 3%;
  • 61 Ukrainians without their own homes, 4 IDPs and 10 veterans received loans at 7%.

Most often, loans were taken for the purchase of housing on the secondary market (160 loans) and from the developer (56). Also, 18 Ukrainians took out loans to buy an apartment in a building under construction.

  • Lviv region – 21;
  • Odesa region – 17;
  • Ivano-Frankivsk region – 16.

In total, since the beginning of the program, 8,670 families have already received loans worth UAH 13.3 billion.
