The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyi, after the night attack of the Russian Federation on Ukrainian cities, demands strengthening of global sanctions against Russia.
According to “European Truth”, the head of state wrote about this on his Twitter account on Friday morning.
Zelensky called the night’s events “another night of Russian terror.”
“Rockets and drones. 10 residential buildings were damaged in Uman. In one of them, an entire block was destroyed. As of now: seven dead, there are wounded,” the president said about the consequences of the Russian attack.
He emphasized that Russian evil can be stopped with weapons, and Ukrainian defenders are doing it. At the same time, the international community should strengthen the sanctions regime against the Russian Federation, the head of state is convinced.
“It (Russian evil. – Ed.) can be stopped with sanctions – global sanctions must be strengthened,” Zelenskyy said.
The head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Dmytro Kuleba, considers Russia’s night rocket attacks on peaceful cities another proof of the need to arm Ukraine with F-16.
On Friday night, Russia carried out another missile attack on Ukrainian cities. IN Uman, Cherkasy region a Russian rocket hit a residential building, seven people, including a child, died, and another 17 were injured.
