Zelensky introduced sanctions against “VK”, “Yandex” and “Rambler”

President Volodymyr Zelenskyi implemented the decision of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine to impose sanctions against 351 individuals and 254 legal entities, including Yandex, VK Company and Rambler, as well as other Russian IT companies and entrepreneurs.
This is stated in the presidential decree 227/2023 from April 15, 2023.
Among the Russian IT companies, in addition to “Yandex”, “Rambler” and “VK Company”, the limited liability companies “Gazpromnafta-digital solutions”, “RT-Invest transport systems” and “Innotech Group of Companies”, joint-stock “X-Holding” and “Softline Trade” companies.
Also, companies involved in the automation of the work of the “Parus” and “1C-Galktyka” enterprises, as well as the well-known JSC “Sitronics” were also sanctioned.
The restrictions imposed on the company relate to the blocking of assets, the complete cessation of trade operations, the prevention of the withdrawal of capital outside Ukraine, and others.
The term of application of the sanction is calculated for 10 years.
