27 drones attacked Russia overnight

27 aircraft-type unmanned aerial vehicles attacked Russian territories on Sunday night, the press service of the Ministry of Defense reports. They were shot down by air defense means: 18 – over the Kursk region, two more – over Belgorod, the crash site of seven more drones is not specified. There are no victims.
Earlier, on Saturday, Kursk Oblast Governor Roman Starovoyt wrote in his Telegram channel about the shelling of the Glushkovsky district and the damage to several residential buildings in the village of Tyotkino near the border with Ukraine. In the evening, he also reported on 12 downed drones.
The governor of the Belgorod region, Vyacheslav Gladkov, also reported on the shelling and drone attack. There are also no destroyed or injured people, the power supply was disrupted in the village of Krasnaya Yaruga.
The publication “Agentstvo.Novosti” suggests that the target of the raids in the Kursk region could be the military airfield “Khalino”, which was already attacked less than a month ago. Then, presumably, several Russian military personnel were killed when the drone exploded.
- The Ministry of Defense of Russia accuses Ukraine of shelling. The Ukrainian command usually does not comment on shelling and drone attacks on border territories of Russia.
