The director of the Institute of Genetics called sin the cause of genetic diseases

Alexander Kudryavtsev, director of the Institute of General Genetics of the Russian Academy of Sciences, called sin the cause of genetic diseases. He spoke about “his picture of the world” at a scientific and theological conference in Minsk.

Kudryavtsev, doctor of biological sciences, presented a graph according to which people used to live for 900 years, but after the global flood, their life expectancy began to drop sharply. The reason for this was called “original sin” by a member of the Russian Academy of Sciences. Along with “familial and personal” sins, Kudryavtsev explained genetic diseases to them. In his opinion, genetic mutation cannot stop by itself, “if only by a miracle of God.”

Kudryavtsev said that God created a perfect and harmonious world, but because of the fall of man, the Earth and the Universe “fell into decay.” In addition, Kudryavtsev repeated the thesis of the conspiracy theory about the “golden billion” and said that peace will not allow Russia to “live peacefully and develop according to its own scenario.” Therefore, “we will have to defend ourselves, and we will defend ourselves by military means. In fact, we have already started to do it,” Kudryavtsev concluded.

• The “golden billion”, the publication “Signal” said, is the central concept of the conspiracy theory, according to which some secret forces are trying to get more benefits to a small portion of the Earth’s population. The concept is hardly used outside the post-Soviet space. Such a conspiracy is mathematically impossible: too many people would be initiated into it and someone would speak out.
