In two months of operation, clients of Nova Poshta used the Safe Service 1,000 times for a total of UAH 3.5 million. More often, Ukrainians paid for clothes, shoes and appliances through the service for secure transactions. This is stated in the company’s message.

Advantages of the service
The main advantage of “Seif-service” is that with it the buyer does not need to make a prepayment to the seller’s card, and the seller receives free return delivery in case of refusal of the goods.
The safe service ensures the security of transactions, because the purchase is carried out exclusively through the Novaya Poshta mobile application. Only in it can the buyer receive a notification with the invoice number and the opportunity to pay for the order. At the same time, after paying for the goods, the funds do not immediately go to the seller’s account, but are reserved. This means that the buyer has the opportunity to inspect the parcel in the department, avoiding the risk of prepayment to unfamiliar sellers by card.

Only after he has picked up the parcel, the funds are transferred to the seller’s card. If the goods did not arrive and the buyer refused the parcel, it is returned to the seller free of charge, and the money for the goods is automatically returned to the buyer.
How to use the Safe Service
- The seller independently creates an express invoice in the Novaya Poshta mobile application and chooses a safe service.
- As soon as the express waybill is created, the buyer receives a push message with its number. The buyer has two days to pay for the order through the Novaya Poshta mobile application.
- As soon as the parcel arrives at the department, the buyer examines it and makes a purchase decision.
