Radio broadcasting was hacked in the southern regions of Russia

[ad_1]

On June 7, radio stations in Sochi, Dzhubga, Temryuk and Rostov-on-Don were attacked by hackers, during which they tried to launch a message about threats to local residents.

As Kavkaz.Realii reports, the hacking was confirmed at the operational headquarters of Kuban. The authorities did not name those involved in this, but said that the purpose of the attack was allegedly to intimidate the population. The fake message was quickly interrupted, now the radio is working in the same mode, the headquarters reported.

The operational headquarters of the Rostov region said the same thing. According to the representative of the regional government, around 1:00 p.m., an unsanctioned broadcast change occurred at an unnamed radio station in Rostov-on-Don. It is reported that it lasted several seconds.

The “Anti-War Committee of Kuban” published a recording of the message, which, presumably, got on the air. In it, a representative of the Russian Volunteer Corps (RDK), fighting on the side of Ukraine, calls on Russians to help clear the annexed Crimea from “Putin’s war criminal gangs.”

  • Two days ago, on June 5, residents of the Rostov, Belgorod, Kursk, and Voronezh regions reported the appearance of messages on radio and television purportedly on behalf of President Vladimir Putin. His voice announced the “invasion” of Ukrainian troops into Russia, the introduction of martial law and general mobilization.
  • The Kremlin said they were aware of the attack, but later the government of the Rostov region said that reports of a hacked radio were fake.
