Shoigu’s son left the Russian Federation a few days before mobilization

Alexei Navalny’s team released an investigation into the illegitimate son of Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu, which states that 22-year-old Danyla Shebunov receives “nearly a million rubles” from the delivery of two office premises in the center of Moscow. For what period of time – the investigation did not say.
Navalny’s associates also claim that Shebunov left Russia for Turkey a few days before Vladimir Putin announced the so-called partial mobilization.
At the moment, Shoigu’s illegitimate son is allegedly busy with his own musical career. As a singer, he records songs in English and shoots clips under the pseudonym Sheba. At the same time, according to Navalny’s team, the video with Shebunov “has received tens of thousands of views”: while his YouTube channel has slightly more than 700 subscribers, his videos have more than 250 thousand views.
- Danyla Shebunov, according to a number of mass media, is the son of Sergei Shoigu and Elena Shebunova, a former flight attendant of the Ministry of Emergency Situations. In 2019, The Insider released an investigation in which it was said that Shebunova earned billions of rubles on contracts with the Ministry of Emergency Situations and the Ministry of Defense. It was also claimed that she had three children with Shoigu. They all went to the elite school “President” on Rublyovka, which costs about two million rubles per hour.
- Neither the Russian authorities, nor Sergei Shoigu himself, commented on the information that the Minister of Defense of Russia has illegitimate children. Officially, the head of the defense department is married to Irina Shoigu, and they have two daughters: Yulia, who is the director of the emergency psychological assistance center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, and Ksenia, who heads the triathlon federation of Russia.
- A few years ago, Elena Shebunova married Lithuanian citizen Adolfas Kaminskas and took his surname. In 2022, the Lithuanian authorities denied her a residence permit because her stay in the country “may threaten national security.”
