Charges have been brought against the alleged killer of Stanislav Rzytskyi

Sergei Denysenko, who is suspected of murdering the former commander of the Krasnodar submarine, Stanislav Rzytskyi, has been charged. This was reported by the press service of the Investigative Committee of Russia. Denysenko will have to answer under the articles of “murder” and “illegal trafficking of weapons”.

64-year-old Denisenko was detained on July 11 in the Krasnodar region. According to law enforcement agencies, he admitted his guilt.

According to Telegram channels, Serhiy Denysenko is a native of the Sumy Region of Ukraine, Honored Coach of Ukraine and Honored Master of Sports of Ukraine, previously he was the President of the Shotokan Karate Federation of Ukraine. Denysenko allegedly lived in Buche, a city in the Kyiv region that became famous for the mass murders of civilians by the Russian military during the occupation in March 2022. The last time Denysenko appeared in the social networks of the Ukrainian club “Scythia”, which he headed, was in October last year. Then he moved to Russia – according to unconfirmed data, his daughter lives in Tuapse.

Sergei Denysenko’s daughter said in a comment to the VChK-OGPU Telegram channel that she did not think he could have committed the murder, even though he held an anti-war position. Vice-President of the Shotokan Karate-Do Federation of Ukraine, Boris Klymenko, said that Denysenko “never held a weapon and does not know how to use it.”

The head of the Main Directorate of Intelligence of Ukraine, Kirill Budanov, said that his department had nothing to do with the murder of Rzytskyi.

  • Stanislav Rzhitsky, deputy head of the department for mobilization work in Krasnodar, was killed on July 10 during a morning run. He was wounded by bullets and died on the spot.
  • Previously, Rzhitskyi was the commander of the Krasnodar submarine equipped with Kalibr cruise missiles. Ukrainian mass media claimed that his submarine participated in the shelling of Vinnytsia in July of last year, released “Caliber” from the Black Sea. As a result of the shelling, 27 civilians were killed, including children, and dozens were wounded.
  • In addition, a person with the same name and surname is included in the database of the Ukrainian site “Mirotvorets”, which collects data on war crimes by the Russian army. It states that Rzytsky was the commander of the submarine “Alrosa” and took a direct part in the military invasion of Ukraine. It is not known when Rzhitsky left the submarine fleet to the position of deputy head of the department for mobilization work.
