Former Minister of Infrastructure Andriy Pyvovarskyi reported that a bail of UAH 9.997 million was made for him.
He informed about this in Facebook.
Pyvovarsky clarified that the court confirmed the receipt of funds for the bail.
The day before, March 16, March 16 VAX appointed former Minister of Infrastructure Pyvovarskyi bail in the amount of UAH 10 million for alleged abuse of power.
According to the investigation, in 2015, Pivovarskyi issued an order that allowed private companies to collect half of the shipping dues at the Pivdenny seaport. The water area of this port is state property and is used by the Administration of Sea Ports of Ukraine (AMPU). Only a state-owned enterprise has the right to charge shipping fees, the NABU notes.
Pivovarskyi declares that the proceeds from the shipping fee are distributed between the user of the port water area (in this case – AMPU) and the owner of the operational water area of the pier (in this case – the private company “TIS”). He stated that the ministry’s order is not a crime.

On February 22, 2023, NABU and SAP informed Pivovarskyi about suspicion in abuse of office, which allegedly cost the state more than $30 million in 2015. Pivovarskyi held the post of Minister of Infrastructure in the government of Arseniy Yatsenyuk from December 2014 to April 2016.
His first deputy, Volodymyr Schulmeister, who also headed the Ministry’s Tariff Council, was also charged in absentia.
