She reported about it press service Antimonopoly Committee.

The Supreme Court issued a corresponding decision on March 16. The case concerns the commission of anti-competitive concerted actions. Namely, a number of companies, in particular “Import Trans Service”, in August 2017 similarly raised retail prices for liquefied hydrocarbon gas.

With this decision, the AMCU brought the WOG group, which includes, in particular, Import Trans Service, and a number of other business entities to liability in the form of a fine. The committee says that during the consideration of the case, it was established that there were no objective reasons for the defendants to commit such actions that led to the restriction of competition.

In total, in 2018, on the basis of the Law “On Protection of Economic Competition”, there were 16 companies fined a total of 41 million hryvnias.

The fine of “Import Trans Service” LLC for collusion regarding autogas prices amounted to UAH 5.172 million.
