The court in Vladivostok accuses Alexander Nemenko of justifying terrorism because of his TikTok videos. SotaVision writes about it.

According to 52-year-old Nemenka, he was informed about the initiation of the case under the article on the justification of terrorism at the beginning of September 2022. First, he was sent to a pre-trial detention center, and then to house arrest. Also, Nemenok said that during the investigation his “health failed”: once he was hospitalized, he received third group disability.

The first search of Nemenka was carried out at the end of May 2022. According to the blogger’s story, then the FSB officers seized his equipment and money, conducted a long interview, and then let him go, since he was “attracted for the first time.” After that, Nemenok tried to get asylum in South Korea. A meeting was scheduled for him, but an FSB officer came to it, says Nemenok.

Now Nemenka, under the pseudonym “Petya Benzobakov”, has more than 35,000 followers on TikTok, and his videos criticizing the authorities receive tens and hundreds of thousands of views. Before the start of Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine, Nemenok worked as a driver in the administration of the Primorsky Territory, writes SotaVision.

  • After the full-scale invasion of Ukraine, the Russian authorities started persecution for anti-war speeches and statements.
  • According to “OVD-Info” estimates, at least 601 people have been prosecuted for their anti-war stance in Russia, at least 69 of them are charged under the article on the public justification of terrorism.
