A case was opened in Kemerovo for approving the blowing up of the bridge and the death of Putin

Maksym Smyshlyaev, a resident of Kemerov, was charged with incitement to terrorism for commenting on VKontakte approving the detonation of the Krymsky Bridge and wishing death to Russian President Vladimir Putin.

According to the investigation, 37-year-old Smyshlyaev “posted a number of publications calling for terrorist acts and justifying terrorism.” The investigation also revealed that Smyshlyaev published the comments from abroad, in particular, from an immigration detention center in the United States, writes SibRu.

Smyshlyaeva faces up to seven years in prison.

• The explosion on the Crimean bridge occurred in October 2022, a few hours after Putin’s anniversary. As a result of the explosion, five people died, about 250 meters of the highway collapsed, and seven tanks of a freight train burned.
