A conscript from Chuvashia was sentenced to 6.5 years in prison for fighting with the commander and running away from the unit

The Ulyanovsk Garrison Military Court sentenced conscript Igor Malyasov from Chuvashia to 6.5 years in a strict regime colony for fighting with an officer and running away from the unit. This was reported by the Russian Investigative Committee.

Malyasov was found guilty of violent actions against the chief during the mobilization period and of arbitrarily leaving the unit during the mobilization period.

During the investigation of the beating of the mobilized commander, he was assigned to a military unit, from which he escaped on January 4, 2023, and went to his relatives in the village of Semyonovskoe, Poretsky District, in the west of Chuvashia. He was detained there on January 12.
