A criminal case of incitement to terrorism was opened against the former Russian military serviceman Timofey Rudenko, who spoke out against the war in Ukraine. This is reported by the publication “Kholod” with reference to Yuliya Rudenko’s mother.
Earlier, the Ostankinsky district court of Moscow for the eighth time in an hour subjected Rudenko to administrative arrest for 15 days. He was found guilty of petty hooliganism – allegedly a former serviceman cursed in a public place.
- Timofey Rudenko served as a military psychologist, but a few years ago he retired from the army. After the start of the war in Ukraine, he condemned it in posts and comments on social networks.
- Rudenko was detained for the first time in May 2022. According to him, the police wanted him to confess to planning a terrorist attack and sign a confession. When he refused, a protocol was drawn up on him for petty hooliganism and disobedience to police officers, and he was arrested for 10 days. Since then, the same situation has been repeated many times. Rudenko was detained several times immediately after leaving the detention center where he had served his previous arrest.
- Rudenko reported that he was beaten, electrocuted and threatened with rape in the special receivers.
