A deputy of the State Council of Tatarstan was outraged by the awarding of Kadyrov’s son

Deputy of the State Council of Tatarstan, member of the “United Russia” party, Azat Khamaev was publicly outraged by the fact that the 15-year-old son of the head of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, was awarded the title of hero of the republic for beating a man.

A fragment of Khamaev’s speech in the regional parliament was published by “7×7”. “In what legal field do we live?” – the deputy turns to his colleagues from the tribune, then gives an example that, in his opinion, answers this question. “The head of the subject of Russia for beating a person assigns the title of hero to his son. Further, developing his idea, he says that he is the hero of all Muslims.”

As noted by the media, the deputies did not comment on Khamaev’s speech.

• At the end of September, the head of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, published a video on his Telegram channel, in which his son, Adam Kadyrov, beats 19-year-old Nikita Zhuravel, who is in a pre-trial detention center on charges of burning the Koran. Kadyrov Sr. approved these actions.
• The video caused a public outcry, but the law enforcement agencies did not react to the situation in any way, did not even explain why an outsider was able to get into the pre-trial detention center and beat the arrested person. The press secretary of the President of Russia, Dmitry Peskov, asked not to ask him any questions related to the incident. Only two deputies of the State Duma, Yevgeny Popov and Vladyslav Davankov, condemned the action of Kadyrov’s son. They, however, did not call to punish the ego.
• In early October, Ramzan Kadyrov awarded his 15-year-old son the highest award of Chechnya – the title of Hero of the Republic. Even later, he again posted a video of Zhuravel’s beating on the Internet, called Adam Kadyrov “the hero of all Muslims.”
