The Nizhny Novgorod school held a meeting with the Wagnerian who killed his grandfather

In the Nizhny Novgorod region, at the Vyezdnovsk secondary school, the administration organized a meeting of seventh-grade students with a mercenary of the private military company “Wagner” who returned from the war in Ukraine, who had previously been twice convicted of murder.

It is reported that the mercenary Alexander Raspravin with the callsign “Combine” participated in hostilities on the territory of Ukraine as a machine gunner. He told the children about how he allegedly brought sixteen Russian soldiers out of captivity, and also demonstrated to them the portable anti-tank missile complex he had brought with him. On the official page of the school in the VKontakte social network, it is stated that the meeting was “cool” and “the students really liked it.”

“Mediazon” publication notes that in December 2012, Raspravin was sentenced to six years in a strict regime colony, found guilty of beating his own grandfather, as a result of which the elderly man died. In 2017, the future resident of Wagner was sentenced to 11 years in prison for the murder of an acquaintance: according to the criminal case, Raspravin stabbed him more than 40 times.

The mass media assume that in “Wagner” the convict was shot as part of the recruitment of prisoners for the war, announced last year by the founder of the PMC Yevgeny Prigozhin, and after participating in the hostilities, Raspravin probably received the promised pardon.

The Insider previously estimated that since the beginning of the full-scale war, at least 60 schools across Russia have been named after participants in the hostilities. Among them there are mercenaries previously convicted of murder, rape and robbery.
