According to the administration of the Orenburg region, almost twelve thousand residential houses and more than fifteen thousand homesteads remain flooded. There is no electricity in four populated areas, and electricity is periodically cut off in the districts of Orenburg.

After the water receded in Orsk, residents found corpses of dead animals on the streets. Livestock in the flooded territories were required to be vaccinated against anthrax, and domestic animals – against rabies. Earlier, 615 farm animals and about a hundred horses were taken out of the flood zones from the racetrack.
More than 10,700 people have been evacuated from the affected areas of the Orenburg region, of which about one and a half thousand are in temporary accommodation. Residents of flooded territories are standing in queues for water, humanitarian aid and at the MFC to issue one-time payments.
