A large-scale industrial park “Formation. Signivka” will be built in Lviv

A modern and innovative world-class production center will be built in the “Signivka” industrial zone in Lviv. The facility will be the first municipal industrial park of this scale not only in the region, but also in Ukraine.
The mission of the new industrial park is to promote the development of the economy and the realization of Ukraine’s potential on the world market, as well as the economic transformation from a raw material to an industrial country by creating conditions for the development of manufacturing enterprises.
The initiator of the creation of the IP is the Lviv City Council. The developer and managing company of the project, Formation. Signivka LLC, belongs to the Alterra Group, known for several commercial real estate projects in Ukraine: PORT (Lviv), Palo Alto (Kyiv), PROSTIR (Lviv), Joule (Svyatopetrivske, Kyiv region ), JAM (Gostomel village, Kyiv region).
“Our goal is to create conditions for the development of a worthy conscious community of industrial entrepreneurs who, growing, will have a significant impact on our country. It is planned to create 3,600 jobs in the IP,” said Dmytro Kovalchuk, co-founder of “Alterra Group” and the ideologue of the project.
Industrial Park “Formatsia. Signivka” is one of the largest industrial projects in Lviv, which involves the construction of more than 150,000 m² of production, warehouse and office premises on an area of 30 hectares in the industrial zone “Signivka”.
“Formation. Signal” will become one of the most powerful industrial projects of the city. The concept of the park envisages the creation of a modern industrial hub in the Railway district of the city, where about 50 enterprises can be located.
“Municipal Industrial Park “Formation. Signivka” will have a significant impact on the development of the community’s economy. This project is one of the largest industrial projects in the history of the city. Thanks to the implementation of the project, we will be able to promote the development of industrial production, create new jobs and attract international experience and private investment in industry.
In addition, significant development of scientific and technological activities is planned in the industrial park. An R&D cell will function within the industrial park, where laboratories, co-working spaces and a business incubator with an area of 2,500 square meters will be created, where startup projects will be hosted free of charge and supported in the development of their projects.
The successful implementation of this project will contribute to the development of technological production in Lviv and Ukraine in general, as well as significantly increase the investment potential in the city and the country,” said the first deputy mayor of Lviv – Andriy Oleksandrovich Moskalenko, deputy mayor for economic development.
Preparatory work on the site is planned to begin before the end of the year. In 1.5 years, the first production facilities will start operating on the territory of Formation. Signivka. Therefore, companies wishing to become residents of the park can already plan their own development together with the new Lviv industrial hub.
Alterra Group is a Ukrainian company specializing in the development, construction and management of turnkey commercial real estate. In the portfolio – 8 development objects at various stages of construction, under management – 35 objects with a total area of 175 thousand m².
