A Mi-28 military helicopter crashed in the Dzhankoy district of the Crimea annexed by Russia. Both pilots who controlled it were killed. There are no victims or destroyed on earth.
The Ministry of Defense of Russia confirmed the fact of the crash and the death of the pilots. The department clarified that the helicopter was performing a scheduled training flight without ammunition. The preliminary cause of the accident is equipment failure.
The commission of the main command of the aerospace forces was sent to the scene of the accident to find out the causes and circumstances of the accident, the Ministry of Defense added.
