In Moscow, local resident Timofey Rudenko, who was previously arrested after trying to leave Russia, was not released from the Sakharovo detention center. He served his second consecutive administrative arrest there. This is reported by “OVD-Info” with reference to an acquaintance Rudenko, who met him at the special reception.

She called the police and reported the abduction of a person. According to the “OVD-Info” interlocutor, she was told in the special receiver that Rudenko had left. At that time, local administration cars and a Škoda Octavia drove by a man in a mask. It is reported that earlier Rudneko was already detained on the territory of the special detention center. Then he was transported in the same car, and the driver was also wearing a mask.

After the start of the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine in February 2022, Rudenko was placed under administrative arrest five times on charges of petty hooliganism. In 2023, he was arrested at Zhukovsky airport when he tried to leave Russia for Kyrgyzstan. On June 2, Rudenko was already detained on his way out of the special detention center in Sakharovo. Then he was once again sentenced to 10 days of arrest on the charge of petty hooliganism associated with disobeying the police.

Rudenko’s mother connects the persecution of her son with his anti-war publications on the Internet. It is not known what kind of materials we are talking about. Rudenko reported that the police beat him with a shocker and offered to “make up for his guilt in front of his family”, joined the “Wagner” PMC.
